UNDERCURRENT - OATMEAL PALE ALE - SIREN CRAFT BREW

This is right out of left field. An oatmeal pale ale?  Its called Undercurrent, and I totally get that. A swirling creamy froth, and as you raise the glass the aromas hit you like the raging sea, so much going on. Wild and untamed. Undercurrent indeed. Part pale, part oats, part caramel barley added to nutty malt, whipped up with cascade and palisade hops. A very complex flavour, which it would be looking at whats gone into it. Spicy and zesty fruitiness prevail, then you have the oatmeal finish, which is unusual, but certainly not unpleasant. (Big fan of HobNobs). These Siren dudes are impressing the hell out of me!
4.5% Volume. Siren Craft Brew, Finchampstead, Berkshire.
