Farnham white is a type of hop no longer commercially grown.So they have resurrected it and are growing it themselves.I applaud anyone putting that much effort into any beery enterprise but I think I known what made people stop growing it.It lacks a bit of flavour,you think it might be helped along by another sort of hop or two.They say it is a bitter with a slight pepper finish and I get that .Mild but there.I just like a bit more power in my beers.Pity because Hogs Back make a lot of beers and some are very good so I feel a bit guilty about some of the reviews I have given them.
