CODE BLACK - BLACK IPA - HARDKNOTT

 Not quite black, but almost. Could pass for a stout and that's what I get from it. My first Black IPA and it will be my last, I didn't' get any of the citrus elements or chocolate orange mentioned on the label it was all swallowed up by the Guinness monster lurking inside. Top marks for the idea but its not made me a fan. Brewed by Hardknott in Milton, Cumbria. Bought from Ales by Mail. 5.6% volume. One for Andy methinks!

    Tough call Terry, if you don't try it you could be missing out on the best beer ever. Or it could be proper grim. Decisions, decisions. You could trade it in with Andy for one of his!
