Salty and limey beer

Stewart Brewery

Margarita Gose 6%

I'm now down two beers that I brought back from Scotland. This beer is made with kaffir lime leaves and salt. I wish I knew this before pouring as the salt is at the bottom of the glass. You can see the salt sinking to the bottom of the glass. The one thing I did pick up on was that i didn't taste lime from the kaffir lime leaves mostly because I just tasted salt. It does use New Zealand hops but again you don't notice them you notice you guessed it salt.  This is YUK and again I can't drink this and it went down the sink. Also getting a new glass now. This beer comes from that brewery that thinks the Belgians made IPA's and now thinks salt in a beer is a good thing.  I know this is what craft brewing is all about but if it uses salt and kaffir lime leaves I'm not touching it again
