GOLDEN ALE - JOHN SMITHS

Not seen this one before so stuck it in the trolley on a rare Morrisons visit. Worthwhile checking different supermarkets every now and again as they do seem to rotate their beers, and they're picking up on the craft beer side of things and the range out there is deffo improving. Having said that I'd still rather hand over my hard earned (bitterly) sovs to a brewer/beer merchant but not always doable.
Anyways this is agreeable. Its a mass produced Golden Ale by the numbers, and  its very drinkable, very light, slight zest and hob nob biscuity flavour.  4% volume, brewed by John Smiths under the Heineken UK umbrella. My first beer of the weekend and it went down well...next!
