90 Shilling ale

Odell 90 Shilling Ale

So a 90 shilling ale was traditionally used in Scotland as way of taxing beer, if it was 90 shillings  it was meant to be highest tax rate on beer. This system is no longer in use in Scotland. This beer comes from America and I'm picking up on honey. This beer is a first for me never had 90 Shilling ale and I'm not sure I will again, it's not that I didn't like it's just once I tasted and smelt honey it kind of put me off.
