DOOM BAR - AMBER ALE - SHARP'S BREWERY

I always shied away from trying this, I'm not big on bitters and I thought this was just a regular bitter. I really like their Atlantic Pale Ale and Wolf Rock Red, especially Wolf Red to be honest, and I bought some of each t'other day and noticed Doom Bar was actually an Amber Ale, so my bad thought I must try it. Its very drinkable, quite easy going. No bitterness picked up at all, in actual fact its like a watered down Wolf Rock Red, that has much more flavour and is the winner here. 4.3 % volume, brewed by Sharp's of Rock, Cornwall but no longer brewed in Cornwall. They've sold their soul to the devil (okay Molson Coors) and its brewed in Burton upon Trent.
