OLD CRAFTY HEN - OAK AGED VINTAGE - MORLAND

Terry thought I might like this, as I really like Hoppy Hen. I saw this in a Tesco in Hexham, whilst on holiday. Colour is a rich dark reddy brown, minimal head, rich smells of fruit, spice and malt on first sniff. Its very good, like a Hoppy Hen on steroids. Big malt flavours, balanced by dark fruit make for a very pleasing and satisfying drink. I like it. A lot.  6.5% volume. Brewed by Morland in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk under the Greene King umbrella.
