Thrown the can out so cant tell you how strong it was but it was strong enough.This is a very dark brown ale but a great flavour,The wife nicked the first one so was very grateful I had two.You don't see many true brown ales nowadays.Upsetting People from Newcastle isn't a wise idea, but that thin stuff they call brown ale well .However if you can get it Newcastle Amber is a really good Bitter.May have saved my life there.Enough about Newcastle,Quickly off to Brighton with you and seek this out.
