I cannot argue that it is a strong ale,as you drink it you can feel that its a bit meaty.Unfortunatly I didnt like it .I found the taste odd and unpleasant.I think it would be ok with some strong food flavours,throat burning curries or chilli dishes.Perhaps cheeses 3 weeks past their get rid of this cheese date.Otherwise this beer is a bit too strong tasting.I never thought I would say such a thing.I like porters and stouts for hells sake .Ian gave me this in a spirit of you review this one.Good of him.
