The forbidden fruit a slightly spicy strong ale from belgium.Considering its strength its probably a good thing its only a small bottle.Surprisingly only a mild spice flavour but not at all bad.I drank this with a salty snack in preperation for the beer festival I am going to tonight.Good preparation me thinks.On an altogether different note,I was grateful to the guy at Hogs Back Brewery this morning where I went to bolster my beer stocks.They are in tongham Near Farnham in Surrey and apart from their own beer sales always have a great selection of beers from the uk and europe.Also some American beers if they take your fancy.The Brewery was in receipt of a couple of huge new vessels for the conditioning of their brews and you can see they are doing very well indeed.The Gentleman who served me took the time and trouble to show me where these vessels were going and showed me round some areas I had not previously seen even on the tour they do.Thank you to him and them.Cheers.
